NALFA HAS JUNE 19, 2008 PROGRAM ON ATTORNEY’S FEES IN LOS ANGELES

Attorney Fee Litigation: It Pays To Be Reasonableat Southwestern Law School

The National Association of Legal Fee Analysis (NALFA), a non-profit organization specializing in attorney fees and litigation costs, is sponsoring a program called “Attorney Fee Litigation: It Pays To Be Reasonable” on June 19, 2008, from noon to 5 p.m., at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.

The topics to be discussed are: (1) fee-shifting provisions/prevailing party; (2) fee recovery in commercial litigation; (3) fees in class action litigation; (4) a practical guide to fees and legal billing; (5) Cumis fees; and (6) fee recovery in insurance bad faith litigation. The faculty presenters are: Gregory M. Bergman; Ken Moscaret; John P. Dacey; John N. Quisenberry; James C. Martin; Aashish Y. Desai; Joel Mark; James M. Roth; Gerald F. Phillips; and James E. King. A buffet lunch is served as part of the program, and MCLE credit (1 hour legal ethics; 2.75 general) is available for attendance.
