According to a recent Daily Journal article, Tamara Evans, who won an $8.3 million damages award in a retaliation case against California’s police training commission, is seeking $7.2 million in attorney’s fees from the state, which is alleged to have prolonged the litigation for more than 10 years despite repeated offers to settle.
