In The News . . . . Top Elite BigLaw Feeder Law Schools Tuition Rates Analyzed For 2014

 

ABA-Approved Law School Rates Also Assessed.

     As reported by Debra Cassens Weiss in a March 2, 2015 post on the on-line version of the ABA Journal, the top ten U.S. elite law schools—analyzed from the point of sending a higher percentage of graduates to BigLaw firms (top 250 U.S. firms)—had an average tuition of $56,292 for 2014, up 13% over the 2011-2014 time frame. Columbia was the priciest at $60,274, placing 66.24% of its grads to BigLaw firms, according to National Law Journal statistics. Cornell, as far as price, was second at $59,560.

     As far as ABA-approved U.S. law schools, the average tuition for all of them was $35,312 in 2014.
