In The News . . . U.S. News And World Report Law School Ranking Recently Released

UCI Get 30^th Spot.

Recently, U.S. News and World Report released its ranking of U.S. law schools. Here they are:

     (1) Yale University

     (2) TIE – Harvard University and Stanford University (Stanford up one spot from last yr.)

     (4) TIE – Columbia University and University of Chicago

     (6) New York University

     (7) University of Pennsylvania

     (8) TIE – Duke University (up two spots from last yr.); University of California–Berkeley (up one spot from last yr.); and University of Virginia

     University of California—Irvine, which became eligible for ranking, zoomed into the 30^th spot.

     In the most recent ranking, U.S. News gave less credit for law schools hiring their own graduates.
